Georgette Shambo, faithful, caring wife, mother and homemaker, went to be with her Lord March 22, 2021. She was married to Robert Shambo for 71 years. She and her husband moved to Sebastian from south Florida when he retired 33 years ago. They enjoyed Sebastian's small-town atmosphere and spent many mornings walking in the park or along the waterfront. They attended several churches in the area, most recently the United Church and the First Presbyterian Church.

Georgette is predeceased by her husband and survived by her five children: Renee Kay of sebastian, Florida; Julie (Lee) Treichler of Herndon, Virginia; Jon (Lynda) Shambo of Plantation, Florida; George (Donna) Shambo of Hernando Beach, Florida; and Stephen (Cheryl) Shambo of Naples, Florida. She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
