Georgine Ortwein Monahan

Georgine, 75, a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL, went to Our Lord on Monday, August 1st, surrounded by her family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, William, her sister, Betty Ann Longenberger, five daughters and their spouses, Nikki and Danny Henry of Minneola, FL; Kathy and Kevin Keller of Windermere, FL; Colleen and Tim Langendoerfer of Waymart, PA; Tina and Scott Hanuschak of Walnutport, PA; and Karin and Joe Monahan of Ocoee, FL; and sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two beautiful huskys that she adored.

Born in Allentown, PA to George and Florence Ortwein, she was the second of three daughters and is predeceased by her younger sister Dolores Skoutelas. She graduated from Allentown High School and was a member of the Fountain Hill Bowling League. She was an executive secretary to the CEO of ECC International, and a realtor with Primac Realty. Her hobbies were crocheting and ceramics, and she was a card player extraordinaire (just ask Hard Rock!).
