Gilberte (Gil) T. (Cloutier) Joncas, 83 of Barefoot Bay, FL passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2013.
Gil was born in Augusta, ME and spent most of her life living in the southern New Hampshire area where she cared for her family and worked as a Final Inspector for 16 years at Raytheon in Andover, MA.
Her retirement years were shared between Pelham, NH and Barefoot Bay, FL. She enjoyed shopping with her sister and playing darts in a league. She is known for her enthusiastic love for playing cards with her friends and family. There was nothing she was more proud of than her family, who absolutely adored her. Gil's infectious personality, unwavering love, selflessness and fun humor will be missed by all who knew her. It was truly a blessing to have her in our lives.
Gil is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Chanel (Joe) Joncas, daughter Cathy Candelario of Canyon Lake, TX, son Steven and wife Mary Ellen of Pelham, NH, son Brian and wife Martine of Derry, NH; sister Doris Downs of S. Windsor, CT; grandchildren Shannon, Brad, Michael, Amanda and Kailee; sister in-laws Theresa Berube, Claire Craven, Marion Joncas and numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Gil was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Cloutier and Marie Ainge (Blais) Cloutier, and brother Don Cloutier.
A memorial service will be held at Pelham Funeral Home with the date to be determined at a later time
