Obituary

Grace Petrillo DiNello , 94, passed away on May 6 th 2023 at Pelican Gardens Assisted Living .

Grace was the widow of John Robert DiNello . They shared 58 years of m arriage together and adopted three children.

Born in New Haven Connecticut on October 31 st 1928, Grace was the daughter of John and Christina Petrill o. Grace attended Hills college on the Yale campus . She was the head bookkeeper at Blue Cross Blue Shield before marrying her husband John.

The DiNello's moved to South Florida in 1971 and to Sebastian in 1978. S he was a member of St Sebastian Catholic Chur ch and a founding member of Club Italia. Always trying to "stay up with the times", Grace took computer classes and Tai Chi . With her beautiful orchards she earned the nick name " The Orchard Lady" in her neighbourhood where she lived for over forty years. Grace liked to take long walks in her neighbourhood , always with a couple of dog treats in her pocket . She will be remembered by her daughter as the "kindest woman she has ever met , never speaking harsh words to anyone or anything . Grace donated to charities, picking a new charity to donate to every year. She was humble, and deserved accolades. Grace managed their floor covering business for 52 years.

Grace is survived by son Robert DiNello , of Margate Florida, son Christopher DiNello , of Michigan, her daughter Marigrace DiNello of Johannesburg South Africa, and grandson Joseph DiNello of Deerfield Beach Florida. Grace was predeceased by her brother Joseph Petrillo of Hamden Connecticut.

Grace will be dearly missed by all that loved her, may she join the Lord in all her Glory…
