On Tuesday September 29, 2020, Harry Edward Richter of Sebastian, Florida passed away in his sleep at 89. Harry was born August 20, 1931 to Harry and Kathryn Richter in Philadelphia PA.

He was a veteran serving in Germany.

He graduated from Haverford College and received his master degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT. He had a career with IBM until retiring to Florida in 1992.

He enjoyed volunteering with both Harbor Branch Oceanographic Inst. assisting with whale and dolphin research, and Marine Resource Council and was a generous Donor to both organizations.

He also volunteered as a sea turtle nesting guide which helped educate the public on nesting techniques of various species on our local beaches.

He is survived by his children Matthew (Lisa) Richter, Cory (Jane) Richter and Hilary (Fred) Stinard, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his life companion Patti Buzek. Per his wishes there will be a private service.
