Hedwig (Hedy) L. Harrington, 86, of Sebastian, FL passed away December 19th at her home with her family by her side. Hedy was born in Reading, PA. Once married lived in Pleasantville, NY, for 32 years.
She and her husband retired to Sebastian where she has been a resident for the past 25 years. Hedy was an active community member and loved volunteering her time. She volunteered at Sebastian Medical Center, was a member of the Lions Club, Socialites and the Red Hats. She participated in many other organizations in Sebastian.
Hedy loved life, enjoyed being part of her community and made many wonderful friendships. She lived life to the fullest, smiled all the time and treated everyone with kindness. She spoke highly of her children and grandchildren and shared many stories with them of her blessed life in Sebastian.
Hedy was predeceased by her husband Jack, after 51 happy years of marriage. She is survived by her son John (Teresa) Harrington, daughters Diane (Ron) Eaker and Linda (Jim) Porter, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grand daughter.

Visitation hours will be December 22nd from 2-5 pm at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, Funeral mass December 23rd at 11 am at Saint Sebastian Church.
