Howard Ellis Hollenbeck 80, Sebastian, FL passed away at his residence December 2, 2012.
Mr. Hollenbeck was born September 26, 1932 in Dundee, IA.
He has lived in Florida for 42 years having come from Cedar Rapids, IA.
He served in the United States Navy, here and abroad, in addition to having served aboard the USS Intrepid from 1952-1956 in the Korean War.
Mr. Hollenbeck was a member of the Sebastian South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Shirley Anne (Hite) Hollenbeck, Sebastian, FL, daughters, Sherry Ellis Hollenbeck, Nancy Stephens, Bradenton, FL, sons, Edward Hollenbeck, Slidell, LA, Howard E. Hollenbeck Jr., Sebastian, FL, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by son, Richard Hollenbeck, brothers, Leo Hollenbeck, Henry Hollenbeck, Gordon Hollenbeck, David Hollenbeck, sisters, Margaret Crosby and Arnette Johnson.
No services are scheduled at this time.
