Ilse Smith, 80, of Vero Beach, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at home. She was born March 22, 1931, in Berlin, Germany, and moved to Vero Beach 50 years ago from Tampa, FL. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Vero Beach. Cricket was married for 38 years to Jim Smith who passed away later the same day. She is survived by daughter Debbie Clifford of Sebastian, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Carey Dabenigno. She is predeceased by son Johnny Cargill and daughter Marylou Fleming.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian.
