Irene J. Pokriefke, 94 3/4 years young, of Sebastian, Florida and formerly of Armonk, New York, left this earth on August 20, 2025 peacefully on her own terms at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Irene was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 30, 1930 and married the Late Richard E Pokriefke, a WW11 Navy Vet in 1951.

Together they were blessed with a wonderful life.  They had three children: Dian (Tom) Geary of White Plains, New York.  Jana Pokriefke of Massachusetts and Beth (Paul) Pokriefke-Blomstrom of Lindenhurst, New York, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in her Sebastian community.

Irene was a vibrant women and loved her life in Sebastian.  She loved swimming, walking, biking and gardening always with a smile.   She will be greatly missed .
