James G. Carella 94, of Barefoot Bay Fl. Passed away on July 11, 2012.

Mr. Carella was born in Trenton N.J. and served in the Marines during WWII.
After taking a course in orthopedic corrections he began selling children's shoes in his father's shoe repair shop in Trenton N.J. His brother later joined him in the business and they eventually opened the Carella Shoe Store in Mercerville N.J. They then opened Carellas' Hallmark Card and Gift Shop. Later they began making their own candy and still later began selling ice cream. The stores still remain in the family now owned by several of his brothers' children.

Predeceased by his sisters Theresa Carella, Margaret Walter, Matelda Stupnick & Helena Gribbin and his brothers Frederick Carella and Francis "Bud" Carella. He is survived by his wife Jean, his sister-in-law Violet Carella, his brother in law John Gribbin, 3 step children, 13 nieces and nephews, several great nieces & nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.

At his request there will be no services.
