James J. D'Alessandro, 46, of Sebastian passed away April 12, 2017 at Sebastian River Medical Center.

He was born November 18, 1970 in Yonkers, NY and was a resident of Westchester County, NY before moving to Sebastian, FL in 1989. He is survived by his mother, JoEllen (Picone) D'Alessandro and his father, James A. D'Alessandro, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jim was an avid Star Wars Fan. He enjoyed computer and video games, Sci-Fi books and movies. He also enjoyed swimming and family summer vacations to Lake George, NY in the Adirondacks Mountains. He was in training, going through the certification process, to be a Peer Specialist for New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, where he would co-facilitate groups and have one on one meetings with his peers.

He was a hero to his parents and many others. His passing is a tremendous loss to all that loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St, Sebastian, FL on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
