James E. Mott, 76, Barefoot Bay, FL., died on April 12, 2013 at Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay, FL.
Mr. Mott was born on January 16, 1937 in Newport, RI.
He has been a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL., for 14 years coming from Block Island, RI.
Before retiring Mr. Mott worked as a Freight Agent for Interstate Navigation.
He was a 50 year member of the Hope Masonic Lodge # 25 in RI. A 50 year member of the Block Island Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Mott is of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eva M. Mott, Barefoot Bay, FL., son, Kenneth W. Mott, Long Island, NY., and 2 grandchildren.
