James Albert Roux, 86, of Barefoot Bay, Florida, passed away on February 18, 2022.
Jim was born on December 29, 1935 to Marie Nelida "Ida" Roux. After graduating from Edward Little High School in Auburn, Maine in 1954, he went on to join the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958.
Jim met and married Elaine Elva Butterfield-Leger of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, and they wed on August 20, 1960, and had 4 children.
Jim was predeceased by His beloved wife, Elaine, his mother Marie Nelida, his sister Marie Theresa Simone as well as a number of loving foster brothers and sisters who have passed away.
He is survived by his children; James Scott Roux and his significant other Gloria Roach McHenry of Woodbridge, Virginia, Geoffrey David Roux and his wife Linda Marie Roux of Oviedo, Florida, Timothy John Roux and his wife Vickie Lynn Roux of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Grace Tomkinson and her significant other Chad Eugene Sager of Barefoot Bay, Florida. His grandchildren; Andrea Anne Roux and her significant other Bill Kalathas of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Curtis James Roux and his wife Jennifer Jo of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Joshua David Roux and his wife Brooke Susanne of Sanford, Florida, Christine Marie and her husband Skyler David Rosenberry of Morton, Pennsylvania, and Jessica Elizabeth and her husband Aaron Lee Colunga of Beaverdam, Virginia. In Addition, Jim has nine great-grandchildren; Logan Edward Rosenberry, Alexander Roux Kalathas, Cameron James Rosenberry, Carter Lee Colunga, Taylor Elizabeth Colunga, Aurora Roux Kalathas, Diana Mary Rosenberry, Natalie James Roux, Kenley Brooke Roux, and two Step-Great Grandchildren, Brandon Robert McHenry and Bradley Allan Meade.
He was the Patriarch of the Roux family and he will be greatly missed.
