James Samoska (aka Jim or Sam), 67, passed away on September 23rd, 2016 in his home in Sebastian with his wife, Pamela Samoska, by his side . James stayed strong and loving until the end.
James loved, and is missed by, his wife, Pamela Samoska; his children Monica Panfil and her husband Todd, Michael Samoska, and Jenna Smulders; his sister, Joanne Berger and her husband Jerry; his grandchildren, Brett Panfil, Nicole Panfil, Kassandra Panfil, Trent Panfil, Sydney Samoska, and Kamryn Samoska; his great granddaughter, Lillian Panfil and her mother Pricilla Sweeney; and mother of his children, Sandra Samoska.
James was born in Chicago to the late Lillian and Stanley Samoska on December 15, 1948 . He married Pamela Samoska on March 30th, 1998 in Boca Raton. James was a proud Navy Seal - UDT class 21. He received the Keys to the City of Chicago for his heroic actions in the Great Chicago Loop Flood of 1992. He loved family, guns, knives and fishing. He was an entrepreneur who built two construction companies, Lindahl Marine Contractors in Chicago, IL and Blue Cove Construction in Orlando, FL.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 PM Saturday, October 8th on "Brochie" Island. Pick up to the island will be at the dock beside Mulligan's Restaurant in Sebastian.
