James (Jim) P. Smith, 61, of Sebastian, Florida, died Friday, March 22, 2019 suddenly. He was born to James A. Smith and the late Joyce Miller, in Detroit, Michigan, June 6, 1957.

Jim moved to Florida in 1998 where he became one of the first GM World Class Technicians in Florida. He married Linda in 2001 and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jim loved to take cruises and going RV'ing, he loved life to its fullest.

Jim is survived by his wife, Linda Smith, his children: Jason (Rachael) Smith, of Whitmore Lake, Michigan: Brandy Terwilliger of DeWitt, Michigan: step kids, Jennifer Langdon of Washougal, WA: Brandon (Judy) Langdon of Vero Beach, FL: and David (Danielle) Langdon of Oviedo, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren that he loved with all his heart, sister, Gail Colby in New York, Shari Andrews and Brother David Smith in Florida.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate James's life by gathering for a Memorial Service at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St, Sebastian, FL, on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11:00 am.
