James S. Groff Sr., 77, passed away on April 16, 2016, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. James was born in Easton, PA. and moved to Florida in 1970.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Betty J Groff and their three devoted children, Jamesina Gragg, James S. Groff Jr., and Deborah Ann Hall; son-in-laws, Michael and Marshall; daughter-in-law, Agata; and grandchildren, Matthew and Mason.
James was a proud Veteran with a combined 33 years of Military service; he served in the Navy, Army & Army National Guard. James held the position of President for a Plastic Pipe Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Sebastian Elks Lodge, American Legion, and Loyal Order of Moose.
A Celebration of Life along with Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard, and a Elks Memorial Service will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming St., Sebastian, FL on April 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
