James Stevenson Wade, 79, of Sebastian, FL died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Sebastian River Medical Center.

Mr. Wade was born October 18, 1932 in Detroit, MI, and moved to the Treasure Coast 20 years ago from Redford, MI.

He had been a Graphic Arts Supervisor for Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. Mr. Wade was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vero Beach, FL where he was a Past President of the Congregation and he was also a member of the American Legion Post 39 in Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife of 56 and a half years, Nellie A. Wade of Sebastian; two sons Nicholas Wade of Walled Lake, MI, and James Wade of Holly, MI; and four grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions made be made out to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 900 27th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Service: A memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Wade will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vero Beach with military honors by VFW Post 3918. Interment will take place at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Memorial Garden.
