It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janice "Jan" Wiles (Perkins) on December 6, 2025.

From Snug Harbor Lakes and Micco FL, Jan was born on January 28, 1937, in Warren Pa.  She was predeceased by her husband "Wayne Perkins" and her only sister.

Jan was a teacher for 30 years in Warren, PA.  She loved all her elementary students.  She would say she never had any kids but was blessed with all the kids she taught.  She kept in touch with many students she had.

Jan loved her friends and enjoyed her life to the fullest.  She loved her community.  She loved to travel with her husband before he passed, and she continued to travel later with her good friend Tomi.

She enjoyed going out to eat with her friends George and Tomi.  One of her favorites was the Golden Corral every Thursday.

Everyone in our community remembers and loved seeing Jan riding her three-wheeler bike, smiling and waving to everyone as she passed by them.

She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband and traveling to Maine and spending a few months every year before Wayne passed.

She also enjoyed going out to see plays with her friend Toni.  She just loved life and kept busy.

Jan – we will greatly miss you and we will not say goodbye since we will see you again some day!
