Jean Gail Dawson, 82, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Sebastian, Florida.

Born on April 2, 1940, in South Amboy, New Jersey, Jean was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Grace (Morgan) Yanotka.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Dawson of Vero Beach; two sons, Curt Jankowski of Whiting, New Jersey, and Scott Jankowski and his wife Chris of Atlantica, Florida; and two sisters, Suzanne Papa of Brick, New Jersey, and Kathryn Kellenberger of Manalapan, New Jersey.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Samantha Hindman, and Zack and April Jankowski; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Jankowski and Ronny Veary.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming Street in Sebastian.
