Jerome Peterman's Obituary
Jerome "Jerry" Peterman, 78 of Sebastian, FL passed away peacefully on October 22, 2016 from complications of ALS.
Jerry was born May 13, 1938 in Newark New Jersey to Joseph and Sadie Peterman. Jerry was known for the famous Bunny Hop "down the shore." He flew commercial airlines for thirty years, a captain with USAir his last 20. Upon retirement, he and his wife Linda, fed the community of Sebastian, FL at the renowned JPMatty's Restaurant. Steak sandwich anyone?
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Linda Peterman, his four children; Richard, Marci, Jeffrey and Jennifer and his five grandchildren; Stephanie, Taylor, Madelyn, Dale and Charles. Jerry was a bright light and he will be eternally celebrated.
Family and friends can join a memorial service on November 12th at 3pm at the United Church of Sebastian. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the ALS Foundation at www.als.org/donate
