Jesse D Grogg

Jesse D Grogg, 83, born December 28th, 1931, the husband of Ghislaine (Lariviere) Grogg died on Wednesday,October 14th, 2015 at the Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian Florida. Jesse was born in Jenks, Oklahoma the son of the late John William and Laura L Grogg. Jesse served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. After his service in the Navy Jesse became a Border Patrol Agent and then worked for The Department of Justice - Immigration and Naturalization Service, from which he retired in 1986. His true passion in life was his family, he also greatly enjoyed hunting, horses, wood crafting and metal fabrication, competition shooting, and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Besides his wife Ghislaine, with whom he had been married for over fifty-one years, Jesse is survived by his children Jacqueline and her husband Ken Copeland of Annapolis, Maryland and Dee Ann Selby (whose husband Dwanye preceded him in death earlier this year) of Haskell, Oklahoma and his grand children Crystal, Kyle, Loren, Lisa and Daniel and his great grand child Travis. He is also survived by his only living brother Tom Grogg, his two brother-in-laws, Roger Lariviere and his wife Carmelle, Serge Lariviere and his wife Ghislaine and many nieces and nephews through out the United States and Canada.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:00pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jesse's life. In lieu of flowers please send donations to The American Heart Association or The American Lung Association.
