Joan Roberts, 77, of Sebastian, died Monday, July 25 with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Henry and Josephine Eshenwald on July 5, 1939. She met Neal R. Roberts while serving in U.S. Air Force stationed in Westover, Mass. They married on Sept. 4, 1959 and lived in Shoreham N.Y. which is located on Long Island and later moved to Franklin, Mass. in 1968. They relocated to Rochester, N.H. in 1980 where they spent 28 loving years together and eventually retiring and making their way to the Treasure Coast in Florida. Lived in Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie and moved to Sebastian in July 2015.

Joan went to Chandler School for Women in Boston, Mass. where she earned an associate's degree in Business. She worked in the Dentistry field as an assistant before retiring in 1988.

Joan is survived by her sons Craig Roberts of Sebastian, Brett and Pamela Roberts of Sarasota, Fl. and Douglas Roberts of Wellington, Fl. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Services are private and will be held at Seawinds Funeral Home.
