Obit: John J. Camara

John J. Camara, 66, of Sebastian, FL died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Camara was born October 11, 1945 in Fall River, MA and moved to Sebastian 12 years ago from Juno Beach, FL.

He had been a sales manager for Masons Furniture in Fall River, Remis Furniture in Peabody, MA and Carl's Furniture in Juno Beach and Stuart, FL before his retirement. Mr. Camara was of the Catholic faith and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Jupiter, FL and a member of the Rod and Gun Club in Palm Beach County.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years Patricia A. Camara of Sebastian; four daughters Lori Camara of Westport, MA, Debra Margolies of New City, NY, Cathy Ingram of Costa Mesa, CA and Christine Nadeau of Massachusetts; a son Jay Tarzia of East Hampstead, NH; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Services: The family will receive friends 2-4 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2012 at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian.
