John Wayne Conklin, a beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024, in Vero Beach, Florida. Born on April 3, 1958, in Yonkers, New York, John proudly served his country as a United States Air Force Veteran.

John's memory will be cherished by his loving family: his son, Brian Apollonio, and Brian's wife, Elsa; his grandchildren, Michael and Brianna Apollonio; his brothers, Gary Conklin, Kevin Conklin, Dan Conklin, and William Conklin; his sisters, Maureen Braswell and Khristine Brugger; and his nineteen nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence William and Barbara Ann Conklin and his son Kevin Apollonio.

A graveside ceremony and burial will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12 noon at the Assumption Cemetery, located at 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt, NY 10567. All are welcome to join in celebrating John's life.

John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of service, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
