John E. Wilson Jr., 70, Fellsmere, FL., died on January 13, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
Mr. Wilson was born on February 2, 1942 in Norfolk, VA. He served his country in the United States Air force. He had been a resident of Fellsmere, FL., for 30 years coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Before retirement Mr. Wilson worked for Florida Power and Light as a Lineman Foreman.
Mr. Wilson was Past President of the Fellsmere Homeowners Association. He served as Safety Advisor for Florida Power and Light. He was a member of the Fellsmere Beautification Committee, he was a Union Stewart for IBEW and a Florida Master Naturalist of the Uplands Habitat.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years; Mary B. Wilson, Fellsmere, FL., son; Jeff Wilson, Palmetto Bay, FL., daughter; Jenny Wilson, Annapolis, MD., mother; Evelyn K. Wilson, Inverness, FL., brother; Douglas Wilson, Kingston, TN., sisters; Linda Hamilton, Inverness, FL., Lynnette Jarocki, Ocala, FL., and 5 grand-daughters
A Memorial Service is planned at a later date.
