John Francis "Jack" Maroney's Obituary
John "Jack" Maroney, 64, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Maroney was born June 25, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT and moved to Vero Beach in 2003 from Bethel, CT.
He had been a mechanic with Velde Ford in Vero Beach and was featured in the Velde Ford commercials.
Survivors include his daughters Stacy O'Hara of Gaylordsville, CT and Jennifer Torres of Danbury, CT; a step-daughter Danielle Howley of Bethel, CT; two sisters Joan Haines of Newington, CT and Deborah Lato of Orange Park, FL; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Maroney.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Services: A Sharing Memories Gathering will take place at his home in Vero Beach 1-3 PM, Sunday, March 25, 2012.
