John M. Joy, 90, passed away September 26, 2017 at Palm Bay Hospital. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was son of the late John and Clara (Nicholas) Joy. Mr. Joy was the beloved husband of 68 years to Ann Marie (Gerding) Joy.

John had been employed as an underwriter in the insurance business. He was a member of the Masonic Temple in NJ as well as a Shriner. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. Mr. and Mrs. Joy moved from Morganville, NJ to Barefoot Bay in 2003.

He leaves a lifetime of memories shared to his wife, Ann Marie, brother Joseph, nephew, Joseph R. Joy and a niece, Debra J. Gavin. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the SEAWINDS FUNERAL HOME, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian from 10:00am to 12:30 pm followed by burial with military honors at the Cape Canaveral,
National Cemetery, Mims, FL.
