Obit: John Edward Kutch
John Edward Kutch, 86, of Sebastian, FL passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
He was born February 11, 1926 in Pioche, NV and is considered a lifelong resident of Sebastian after moving here at a very young age.
Mr. Kutch was an American Indian and served in the Army during World War II.
Prior to retirement, he had worked for Piper Aircraft for 25 years as a mechanic. He was a member of Fellowship Christian Community. Mr. Kutch was an avid sportsman who was responsible for organizing the first little league team in Sebastian where he became a mentor and pitching coach to many boys. He held many trophies and awards for swimming in High School and always said that he could swim faster than Tarzan.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Marion Kutch of Sebastian, FL; Daughters Sandra (Frank) Groves of Keystone Heights, FL, Jean (Craig) Brooks of Vero Beach, FL, Linda Beatty of Vero Beach, FL, Donna (Mark) Tenniswood of Okeechobee, FL; Son William Kutch of Sebastian, FL; Sisters Mary Lopez of Burley, ID, Linda Kutch, Sharon Lopez, Myrna Cotton of Ft. Hall, ID; brothers Carl Kutch, Richard John Kutch of Ft. Hall, ID; Tem Grandchildren; Fourteen Great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services: A memorial service is being held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, Florida with Rev. Dr. Ron Thomas officiating.
