John Joseph Lipski, 75, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at his home in Vero Beach. The son of John Lipski and Margaret Trucks, John was born in Kinston, PA and grew up in Philadelphia, PA. After high school graduation he served in the United States Marine Corps. He returned to Philadelphia to work for many years, and later, he moved to Cape May, NJ, where he owned and operated a business producing custom made boat tops and awnings. He also ran a charter boat fishing business in Cape May.

John is survived by his second wife, Christine Decker Lipski; sisters Marie Gordon and Dorothy Dix; brother Francis Lipski, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Gennet Lipski; brother Joseph Lipski and niece, Diane Hill.

A viewing will be helf from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian. A luncheon will follow the mass. John's body will be cremated and his cremains will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
