John Sevensky, 80, of Barefoot Bay, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at his residence.
He was born February 17, 1931 in Bronx, NY and was a resident of Barefoot Bay for 6 years coming from Elmsford, NY.
John was a slate roofer for the Archdiocese of NY and South Street Seaport Museum. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and received the Purple Heart. He belonged to the Calvary Chapel in Melbourne, FL and was a member of the Roofers Union and DAV.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Ann Sevensky of Barefoot Bay, four daughters Susan Seven-Sky of West Harrison, NY, Ann Marie Angelo of La Grange, NY, Linda McGovern of Boca Raton, FL and Patricia Bueti of Pawling, NY, two sons Johnny Sevensky of Phoenix, AZ and David Sevensky of Yorktown Heights, NY, eight grandsons.
He is predeceased by his brother Richard Sevensky.
Memorial services will be held in New York.
