John Trerice, 95, of Sebastian, FL died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Sebastian River Medical Center.
Mr. Trerice was born January 26, 1917 in Saginaw, MI and moved to Sebastian 35 years ago from Pontiac, MI.
Prior to his retirement, he had been a Time Study Engineer for Pontiac Motors. During WWII, he was a MSgt in the US Air Corps serving as a crew chief for B-24 Bombers in the African Theatre.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Mildred Steele Trerice of Sebastian, FL; daughter Mary Trerice of Plainfield, VT, son Reverend John Trerice of Manitou Beach, MI, step daughter Sue Bishop of Troy, MI, step daughter Anne VanZandt of Boyne, MI, sister Elline Sheldon of Whitemore Lake, MI, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Sue Stubbe and a sister Alice Pier.

Service: The family will receive friends 12 Noon-1PM, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, FL with a Life Celebration Service beginning at 1 PM at the funeral home, Rev. John Trerice officiating. Interment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park Mausoleum in Palm Bay, FL.
