Joseph "Tritchie" Ritchie passed away in his family home in Barefoot Bay, Florida on Monday, August 31, 2015.
Since early 2013 he enjoyed his retirement days spending time with family and friends, fishing, boating, and riding his Harley motorcycle along the coastal highway.
He was predeceased by his late wife Jackie King Ritchie; mother, Tillie; and his father Joseph A Ritchie.
He is survived by his "pride and joy" daughter, Jessica Marie Ritchie of Wilmington, DE; his sisters Leslie Murin and husband Kelly of Elkton, MD and Renee Smith of Sebastian, FL; and his brother Darrell Ritchie and wife Marilyn of New Castle, DE.
He was beloved among many but in particular the King family, Jennifer King Wham and husband Dave, Mary King and Jeannette Cirigliano.
A private service will be held for family members only at a future date.
