Joseph "Vic Ventura" DeFelice died June 29, 2011, at Sebastian River Medical Center.

He was born in Harlem, N.Y., and lived in Micco for 12 years, coming from Wilmington, N.C. He was a singer known as Vic Ventura and worked at places that included Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, The Concord in New York and Dangerfield's in New York. He also owned Big Roman's Pizza in Micco. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Lorain DeFelice; daughters, Marie Jean Fitzgerald of Charlotte, N.C., and Veronica Abato of Barryville, N.Y.; sons, Joseph DeFelice of Connecticut, Frank Dellatore of Micco and Brian DeFelice of Coral Springs; sisters, Josie Givillio of Boca Raton and Yolanda Sipila of Long Island, N.Y., brothers, Corrado DeFelice of California, Albert DeFelice of Spring Hill and Frank DeFelice of Shruboak, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.

Services: A memorial gathering will be at 1 p.m. July 10 the Joseph DeFelice's home. Arrangements are by Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Sebastian.
