JOYCE IRENE ROLLER

Joyce Irene Roller 91, passed  peacefully into the loving hands of our Lord on November 5, 2021 at Sebastian Hospital.

Joyce was born on February 25, 1930 daughter of the late Har0ld and Irene Jackson of Newburgh, NY where she was raised and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. On December 31,1950, she was united in marriage to Arthur Roller. Together they spent 71 years of love and friendship and raised four children. Three daughters, Debbie (Tom) Martin of Jacksonville, Florida, Dawn (Artie) Hoblin of The Villages, Florida, Darin (Gary) Lease of Plattekill, NY., and one son, Daryl (Tracey) Roller of Rome, NY. She also leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren. Shaun, Kelly, Cory and Ryan Martin, Jennifer Edic, Jessica and Matthew Lease, and Collen and Camren Roller. Four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Joyce lived in New Windsor, NY until 1995 when Art retired and they moved to Sebastian, Florida, where they enjoyed many magical years together during retirement.

Joyce loved life, her family and her  friends. She had a heart of gold and was always there with a listening ear or to lend a helping hand. She was  strong willed, yet kind and giving.

Joyce loved to do crafts, needlework and enjoyed shopping. Her many beautiful cross stitch pieces and afghans could be seen all over her  beautifully decorated home and were given as gifts to all she loved. With her loving care her beautiful soul touched so many lives. She never knew a stranger. She was a wife, a mother and a best friend. A special thank you from the family to her loving husband Art for taking extra special care of Joyce during their last three years of marriage. She will be sadly missed by her family and those who loved her.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents, a younger sister, Caroline (Jackson) Smith, her in-laws, Helen and Irvin Roller, and a great Grandson, Kyle Stevens.
