Mrs. June Alice Wright died peacefully at her home on Saturday April 25th inSebastian, Florida at the age of 75.
June is survived by her children: Earle, Richard, Karen and Allison. She was also the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Cameron, Kendall, Brynna, Gabrielle, Carter, Danny, Alexandria, Brylee and Dylan. June is preceded in death by her husband, Earle Carter Wright, Jr.
June was born on January 26, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York to Norman and Alice Ording. June married Earle Carter Wright, Jr. in 1969 and soon after moved from Virginia to Florida to raise a family. Her children remember her as a loving and devoted mother who encouraged them to pursue their dreams. While most of her time was spent working as a homemaker, she also worked many years as a legal secretary. Upon retirement in 2006, she and her husband moved from Lake Worth, Florida to Sebastian.
June was a generous individual who loved solving people's problems and who was passionate about her children's and grandchildren's education.
A viewing will be held on Saturday May 2nd at 1 p.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, with a ceremony to follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Ron Thomas will officiate the ceremony.
