Karen Marie (Dean) Sisto, 47

SEBASTIAN, FL- Karen Marie Sisto, 47, of Sebastian, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Sebastian River Medical Center following a brief illness, surrounded by her devoted and loving family.

Born in Attleboro, MA on September 2, 1967, she was the beloved daughter of Paul F. Dean of Delray Beach, FL and Diane (Marcinkoski) Dean of Sebastian, FL. In addition to her beloved husband, Anthony Sisto, she is survived by her three children, Nicholas Borcherds of Portland, ME, Tavis Borcherds of Lowell, MA, and Abigail Borcherds of Sebastian, FL.

Karen is also survived by her brothers, James P. Dean of Wrentham, MA, and Robert J. Dean of Palatine, IL, and her sister Cheryl D. McNamara of N. Attleboro, MA, and was sister to the late Rebecca L. Dean. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Karen grew up in North Attleboro, MA and was a 1985 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School. She had been a resident of Sebastian, FL for the past seven years.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a gathering at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming St., Sebastian, FL on February 13, 2015 from 1 to 2pm, followed by a Catholic service at 2pm in the Chapel.

There will be a service for friends and family in Massachusetts in the spring, with interment of her ashes in Mt. Hope Cemetery near her sister, Rebecca, and her niece, Victoria. These final arrangements will be announced at a later date.
