Before retiring he worked as a computer operations manager for CSI in Raleigh, NC.
He served his country in the United States Air Force.
Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helene A. Sargent, Sebastian, FL., daughter Lisa Jeanne Sargent, Milford, NH, sisters, Joan Fortier, Danville, NH, Lois Waters, Danville, NH, and Laurel Brigham, Actor, ME., 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a son Kenneth Lauris Sargent Jr.
