IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lawrence
Levesque
December 19, 1931 – February 14, 2020
Lawrence Robert Levesque, 88, passed away on February 14, 2020. He was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts on 12/19/1931, and married his sweetheart Jeanne Chapdelaine on 11/22/56. He leaves behind two children, Gail (Jim) Briscoe of Satellite Beach, Florida and Bruce (Karen Kane) Levesque of Manville, Rhode Island; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Johnathan) Wells, Kimberly, Holly, and Sarah Millette, Christopher, Robert, Matthew Levesque; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob and Joshua Wells. Larry resided in Woonsocket, Rhode Island for many years, was known at St. Louis Catholic Church for passing the offertory basket briskly, retired from General Motors and moved to Barefoot Bay, Florida in 1990. He was an avid tennis player and won many trophies and awards throughout the years. His hobbies were riding his bike or scooter, fixing things, and he loved making people laugh. He even performed as one of the Andrews Sisters and borrowed his brother's high heels for the event.
He will always be remembered as an honest, caring, funny man who had many friends, and loved a good can of beans. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Aurore (Gervaise) Levesque and all of his siblings; Richard (Alice), William (Anita), Roland (Patricia) & Edward (Elizabeth), Jeannette Drainville (Conrad) and Blanche Giguere (Robert). We will gather together at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Riverview Park in Sebastian at the Veteran's War Memorial. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held at the American Legion Post 189, 807 Louisiana Avenue, Sebastian, Fl. The Sebastian Area Honor Guard will be honoring this Korean War veteran with military honors. Rest in peace Dad. xx
In lieu of flowers tell a joke, make someone laugh or do something kind for them, that is the legacy that our dad would have loved.
