Lee Allen Boyer died peacefully at the Tuscany House in Rockledge, FL on March 12, 2017 at the age of 68.

Lee is survived by his wife of 45 years Deborah Boyer; son Stephen and his wife Colleen of Vero Beach, FL, son Wayne and his wife Laurie of Port Saint Lucie, FL; four grandchildren Garrett, Anmber, Derek and Victoria; and four brothers Richard, Charles, Gary and Craig. He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Geigle; father Wayne Boyer; brother David; and sister Shirley.

Lee was born on August 4, 1948 in Kissimmee, FL. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War reaching the rank of Sergeant. He earned the Purple Heart along with numerous other medals and awards.

Lee had a passion for youth sports including: Peewee football, Little League baseball, and high school sports. He was also an active member of the Marine Corps League, Barefoot Bay Detachment #918.

Lee courageously battled Alzheimer's disease for the past several years.

A Gathering is scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 S. Fleming Street, Sebastian, FL, 32958, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date at The Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
