Leon Bruce Davis, 87, of Barefoot Bay, died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at his home. Mr. Davis was born in Morgantown, WV and moved to Barefoot Bay in 1991 from Poway, CA. He had been a supervisor for the US Postal Service in California. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and NALC. Survivors include his caregiver Barbara Repaci of Barefoot Bay, three sons Bruce Davis of Arvada, CO, Jeffery Davis of Vista, CA, and Timothy Davis of San Diego, CA, two daughters Cheryl Gordon of San Diego, CA, and Linda Macher of San Mateo, CA, and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the VITAS Hospice, 4450 West Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32935. No services are planned at this time. Interment will be at Pointe Loma National Cemetery in San Diego, CA. Arrangements by Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Sebastian, FL.
