Leroy H. Bostwick 88, of Barefoot Bay Blvd. Sebastian , Florida died Tuesday October 21, 2025 at Vitas Hospice House in Brevard County with his wife and daughters by his side.

Leroy was born to the late Grover and Littie Bostwick on October 24, 1936 in Maryland, New York.  Leroy attended schools in North Pownal, Vermont and Hoosick Falls, New York.

Leroy served in the United States Marine Corp, from 1953-1956, he then served in the reserves until 1961.

Leroy married the love of his life Carol Lazarczyk in 1960. On October 29th, 2025, they would be married for 65 years. They lived in North Pownal, Vermont for over 42 years, until relocating to Barefoot Bay, Florida where they lived for the past 21 years.

Leroy worked at several places throughout his career, Hunter Inflated Products in North Adams, MA, Pownal Tannery in VT, Bijou in Bennington, VT.  He retired from the Bennington School District.

Leroy was a life member of the Elks in Bennington, VT. Before moving to Florida, he was a member of the American Legion where he served as commander in earlier years.  He was also a member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles and Italian American Club in Florida.

Leroy was proceeded in death by his father, Grover Bostwick and his mother Littie Bostwick, sister Elizabeth Buck, and Brother-in-Law Robert Buck. He is survived by his loving wife Carol and his pet, Charlie the cat.  Children, Robin Houran (Garry) from Pownal, VT, Beverly Obrien (Randy) from Hoosick Falls, NY, Jane Nichols (Greg) of Bennington, VT. Grandchildren: Melissa Wright from Rutland, VT, Chris Wright (Ashley) from Bennington, VT, David Wright (Liz) from Hoosick Falls, NY, RJ Kaska from Hoosick Falls, NY, Catlin Kaska (Norman) from Bennington, VT, Summer Nichols from Bennington, VT. Several Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.  Cousin Wanda Bostwick, from NY.  Nieces and Nephews, Betty Ann Baker from Pownal, VT, Barbara Clayborn from Bennington, VT, Michael Buck from Bennington, VT, Robert Buck from VA.

Brother in laws, John (Dianne) Lazarczyk, Joe ( Kathy) Lazarczyk.

We will be having a Celebration of Life at the Eagles in Sebastian, Florida and will be having a graveside in the Spring at Southview Cemetery No. Adams, Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospital or the Danny Thomas Cancer Center for Children.
