On January 25, 2020, Linda Gaye Johns of Fellsmere, Florida took her last breath here on earth and woke up in the arms of Jesus.  She made a lasting impact on the town of Fellsmere and the surrounding communities with her work at Fellsmere First Baptist Church serving in ministry for nearly her entire life in some capacity and working with children both at the elementary school and the church up until she could no longer.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond Johns and Clayton Dart; father, Robert Farver; and mother, Mary "Gram" Farver.  She is survived by her sister, Sharon Gore; her son, David Johns; his wife, Susan Johns; and daughter, Kelly Yates.  She has 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Even though she is no longer with us on this earth, her legacy and impact live on in the lives of all those that she touched through her open house, open heart, and willingness to serve God.  Well done thy good and faithful servant.  It was Linda's wish not to have a service and the family will honor those wishes.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers or any type of gifts, that you would consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in her honor so that maybe one day there will be a cure for this dreaded disease.
