Linda Thompson, 78 of Sebastian, FL passed away peacefully in hospice acre after a battle with cancer Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Vero Beach. She was born April 16, 1941 in Watertown, NY to William and Lucy Bertsh. She worked at Chowhan University in Murfreeboro, NC, Three Rivers Nursing Home in Winton, NC as a dietary manager and at the Vidant Welness Center in Ahoskie, NC as a water aerobics instructor.

Linda will be sadly missed by her daughter, Amy Scanlan of Greeenville, NC, her sister, Billie (Arthur) Mantz of Sebastian, FL., Brother Larry (Anna) Bertsch of Brushton, NY., grandchildren, Amy, Amanda, Abigail Scanlan, Alicia Evertte, Tara Thompson and grandson, Alex Scanlan.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents Bill and Lucy Bertsch and a son, Timothy Thompson.

The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and to the special people at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Linda was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
