Obituary

Logan R Nolan, SFC Retired, our Hero left us on April 15, 2024. Logan was born July 21, 1938 in Turners Station, Kentucky in the county of Henry.

He was preceded in death by his wife of almost 65 years, Sarrah Catherine Nolan.

Logan is survived by his daughter, Sonja (Mitchell) Wall, two grandchildren, Jeremy Joe (Anna Brewer) Littrell and Jessica Kay Littrell (Thomas Dixon) and two great grandsons, Kristopher Toth and Logan Littrell.

Logan served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years and throughout his service he and his family lived in Korea, Germany, Iran, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, Tennessee and Kentucky.

He joined the Army in 1957, stationed in El Paso, Texas and retired in 1977 at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He then moved to Clarksville, Tennessee and went to work at Fort Campbell as a mechanic under contract.

During his life Logan has visited all 50 states as well as Italy, France, Spain, Luxembourg, Austria, Holland, Beirut, Lebanon, Istanbul, Turkey and Morocco.

He became a snowbird in 1997 going to Florida for winter months and Clarksville for summer months. In 2011 He and Sarrah moved to Florida permanently.

Logan is a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 10210, Member of the American Legion Sebastian, and a member of the 101st Airbourne Division Retiree Organization.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian, Florida. A Celebration of Logan's life will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida.
