Lois Elizabeth Laudeman, 83, of Barefoot Bay, FL, joined the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

She was born in Bronx, NY on September 2, 1937 to the late Frank and Helen Tyra. Later the family moved to Linden, NJ where Lois graduated from Linden High School. She met her husband, Donald Laudeman and they married in 1956. They had 2 children, a son, Donald and a daughter, Susan. They lived in the Linden area until relocating to Lake Telemark, NJ where they lived until their retirement in 1998. They spent their retirement years in Barefoot Bay, FL.

Lois worked at Integrated Electronics where she started as a line worker, then moved her way up to manager, then finally Assistant to the President.

She was very social, always joining in events such as dances, dinners or charity events at the Lake Telemark Clubhouse. She also enjoyed bowling, horseshoes and cards. She was active in her church, including teaching Sunday School and working as the church secretary. She and her husband loved taking trips to places like Bonaire or Bermuda with their extensive network of friends.

Family was an important part of her life. She showed her love by doing - cooking, sewing, crocheting and creating. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, always planning some fun adventure or activity. She loved to travel with her family. She enjoyed numerous family trips to Wildwood, NJ, Boston, MA and Aruba.

In her retirement she immersed herself in her new community through church, the Barefoot Bay Community and the Local Moose. She spent her time taking cruises with her husband, going out to dinner, playing darts and Texas Hold'em.

Lois was a smart, loving, generous and feisty woman. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many.

She leaves behind her daughter, Susan and husband Alan; grandchildren Jason, Megan, Samuel, Noah; great grandchildren Carmelo and Cruz; daughter-in-law Valerie; brother Frank and his wife Maria; sister Joan and her husband George; brother Robert and his wife Carol; brother William and his wife Carminda; brother Raymond and his wife Marge; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Donald Laudeman, Sr. and her son, Donald Laudeman, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Seawinds Funeral Home in Sebastian.
