On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, Lynda Coste Pellegrin passed away at the age of 76.  She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 10, 1943, and was the oldest daughter of James V. and Helen V. Coste of Hinton, WV who are previously deceased.  Lynda was preceded in death by her husband Lewis C. Pellegrin in 1995.

Lynda is survived by her son, Christopher Honaker of Morgantown, WV, daughter, Helen Hathaway, granddaughter, Olivia Hathaway, and son-in-law, Nathan Hathaway all of Steeles Tavern, Virginia.  She is also survived by her sister, Regina Coste of Newport News, Virginia and brother, James V. Costa, of Talcott, WV.

Lynda is survived by her longtime best friend and companion of 24 years, Colonel Robert B. Holt, United States Army, Retired.  Together they enjoyed real estate development, flying and living in Vero Beach, FL and Morgantown, WV. He was her constant support and help during her fight with cancer.

Special thank you to Mary Ellen Honaker, her cousin, for the wonderful care given to Lynda in the last four months of her life.

Lynda was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hinton, WV where she was church organist and soloist for many years.  She was also organist at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Weston, WV.

In her earlier years, Lynda enjoyed a career in nursing in Hinton, Beckley and Charleston, WV. After moving to Morgantown in 1996 she had a successful career as a REALTOR with KLM Properties for twenty one years until her retirement in December of 2018.

The family asks that donations in Lynda's name be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hinton, WV, and VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach FL.
