IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lynn Claire
Haskins
January 28, 1947 – November 8, 2018
Lynn Claire Haskin of Sebastian, Florida was born on January 28, 1947 to Edward and Claire Ridgway in Hackensack, NJ, and returned home to the Lord at 9:45 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
After a valiant fight with COPD back in 2016, with her strong will to survive and prayers from family and friends, she recovered and was sent home to her loving husband John Haskin. She was instructed by doctors to live a life that she felt did not meet her quality of life, so she decided to continued to live the remainder of her life the way SHE wanted. She faced death the same way she faced life... fearless and with her head held high!
Lynn was beautiful, bold, strong, creative, funny, caring and so very charitable! She has done so much for her family, friends, vets and anyone that ever needed her help.
She loved animals, reading, creating things (crafts, interior decorating, anything DIY) with her incredibly unique talents, she loved traveling to different places on cruises, and she loved being the life of the party!
Her strengths were helping others, making friends, seizing the moment and making a grand entrance!
Her talent was her creative ability to make and do just about anything. She would NEVER procrastinate and often indicated, how odd it was that none of her daughters had yet mastered that skill! LOL
Her weakness was occasionally saying the wrong thing and exaggerating. She was overly outspoken and desperately sought out to tell a dramatic story!
Her most memorable advise to her daughters was "Never rely on another person to survive!"
Her dimpled smile and infectious laugh will be remembered forever! She will be missed by so many. For those of you who read this, but have never had the opportunity to meet her. Perhaps your chance will come when you get to heaven... just follow the sounds of loud laughter and you will find her in the center of the crowd!
Her surviving family members are numerous, but mainly include:
