Madlyn Dallas, 92, Sebastian, died Friday, July 12th, with her loved ones by her side. She was born on August 10, 1931 in Elmira, NY to Charles Dallas and Marian Penny. She resided in Detroit, Michigan before moving to Miami, Florida. Madlyn married Gene Melasi, who preceded her in death, and moved to Daytona Beach. She later relocated to Sebastian where she spent many years as a volunteer at Sebastian River Medical Center. Madlyn is survived by her 5 children; Marion (Michael) Cherne of St. Simon's Island, GA; Gene (Jean) Melasi of Wellsville, NY; Susan Melasi, Fred Melasi, and Andrew (Carole) Melasi all of Sebastian. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
