Obituary

Margaret Diane Peck Goshorn, 79, of Micco, FL passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

She was born in Maryland to Lloyd K. and Margaret V. (Kearns) Westley and was raised in Texas, MD.
She is survived by her loving children Robert Gwynn Peck III and Mitchell Gregory Peck and five cherished grandchildren Danielle, Stephanie, Lauren, Mitchell Jr., Justin, Conor, Ashling and a nephew Michael S. Zinkhan. She also had 8 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband James (Jim) B. Goshorn, her sister Barbra Jane Zinkhan, and her parents.
In her life she owned and operated a bear hunting lodge-Bear Facts Guide Service in Patton, Maine where she lived for almost 35 years before retiring to Florida in 2015 where she met Jim, the love of her life.
When Jim passed in 2021, she said he was the only man she truly loved. They always had smiles on their faces and were always holding hands. They were in separable.
She was strong-willed and independent, she loved her family, life and everything she did. Her hobbies included photography, quilting, painting, and later in life travelling with Jim.  She was a strong supporter of our military and veterans.
She will be missed by her friends and family.
A celebration of life in Patten, Maine and Sebastian, Florida will be planned for a later date.
