In Loving Memory of Mario Raya Jr.

Mario Raya Jr., 25, of Fellsmere, went to heaven on Friday, July 17, 2026. Born on May 16, 2001, in Vero Beach, Florida, to Maritza Gamez and Mario Raya, Mario lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for anything with wheels and a motor, whether it was riding motorcycles, racing, or working on vehicles. He embraced every adventure with enthusiasm and found joy wherever the road would take him.

Above all, Mario cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, who meant the world to him. His greatest pride and joy were his two children, Daleyza, age 3, and Emiliano, age 2 months.

Mario is survived by his loving parents, Maritza Gamez and Mario Raya; his brother, Jose Gaona; his sister, Dafne Carreon; his beloved children, Daleyza and Emiliano; his maternal grandmother, Maria G. Cendejas; his paternal grandmother, Celia Raya; his loving aunts, Alejandra Zendejas, Claudia Garcia, Brisely Gamez, and Anet Gamez; his beloved cousins Adan Zendejas, Adrian Zendejas, Juan Raul Garcia, Alexis Raya, Jonathan Raya, and many more close family members and cherished friends who will forever treasure his memory.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Seawinds Funeral Home, 735 South Fleming Street, Sebastian. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, with burial immediately following at Sebastian Cemetery.
